sewing for the angels

Angel sets for angels as small as 18 weeks gestation; these will be going to God’s Tiny Angels in the next box.  And I notices I made 6 girl sets and one lone boy set…so I now have 5 more boy fat quarter sets ready to go.  Each one of these sets took 2 fat quarters of flannel: 2 teeny tears diapers and one 12 inch square tiny little lovie.  I added a matching no sew cap to finish off each set. The assorted sites patterns and donations can be sent to are as follows:

God’s Tiny Angels

Teeny Tears bereavement diapers

No Sew cap pattern

These were all completed on October 6th 2013

A closer look at the turtle sets…so tiny…teeny tears diapers, a tiny lovie and a matching cap…just right for angels up to 18 weeks gestation. Completed October 6th 2013

3 newborn lovies for the God’s Tiny Angels newborn blanket drive…3 so far! 2 are yummy flannels and the third is this super fuzzy stretchy stuff I will never purchase again…never…thing is I have enough left over to make 2 preemie sized lovies so I think I’ll be locating some satin edging to finish them rather than doubling the layers like I did the newborn one…and sneeze… October 6th 2013

The next batch of newborn sized lovies for God’s Tiny Angels…eeeeeeeeee such fun color combinations! And what’s left over from cutting our the blankets I can use for a few sets of teeny tears diapers (hopefully) if not the strips will be saved for some really neat striped quilts eventually… October 6th 2013
