Very productive 5 day staycation!

Angels sets…whew! I finished all I had cut out and started.  The teeny diapers are via Teeny Tears:http://teenytears.blogspot.com/ .The no sew caps are via: http://angeloutfitters.blogspot.com/2012/10/no-sew-hats.html  and the 12 inch lovies are thrown in so the wee angels can be snuggled.  I worked on these over three days between other projects and celebrations.  Haven’t decided where these will go yet…perhaps a hospital through Teeny Tears and any left over will go to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia. December 26th, 27th & 28th 2013

I have conquered the horrible-too-expensive-for-its-own-good-fuzzy-stretchy fabric! Boowahahaha! Let the satin edging compel you…OK a little out of control there…but this fabric is in deed the ickiest I’ve worked with and it now resides on the do not buy ever and I mean it list.  I did manage to get 2 slightly larger than preemie slightly smaller than newborn lovies…these will be sent to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia with the next batch of baby goodies October 13th 2013

500 angel sets boy x5 10-10-13
Angel sets for angels as small as 18 weeks gestation; these will be going to God’s Tiny Angels in the next box. And I notices I made 6 girl sets and one lone boy set…so I now have 5 more boy fat quarter sets ready to go. Each one of these sets took 2 fat quarters of flannel: 2 teeny tears diapers and one 12 inch square tiny little lovie. I added a matching no sew cap to finish off each set. the one lone diaper will be sent to the Teeny Tears group to be placed into a memory box. Kiddie Middles

Been getting up at 4:45am the past few mornings to get Jim going on time (this is the last day of that massive lack of sleep) and to keep my self from falling asleep in the living room I’ve been digging through my stash in search of fun kiddy charms to sew into quick quilt middles…

I’ve made 2 boy middles

and 1 girl middle (yup that’s one lone left over boy charm in there…shhhh…I’m sure no one will notice).  All the charms are 6 inches square…I have wonderful left over border strips from other quilts to make these a nice size…and of course the ever present prairie points! These will most likely be going to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia when completed http://danettesangels.tripod.com
