Whew completed a few things this weekend! Finished 8 large sized (32 week gestation) BOY sets of Teeny Tears diapers http://teenytears.blogspot.com/ with wee blankets, one cap with a coordinating ribbon and a tiny crocheted bonnet my mom made http://job121.wordpress.com/2013/10/08/angel-baby-bonnet-crochet-pattern-for-stillborn-babies . Super adorable! I have each set bagged up and waiting for a hospital to adopt! July 27^th 2014

Heaping pile of WIP: tinier blankets that will have matching small (18 week gestation) sized diapers, Burp Cloths and bibs awaiting their matching receiving blankets, Owl/Cat tag rattles that will go with the burp/bib/blanket sets waiting for the stuffing, rattles and stitching…and last but not least not a WIP…a finished preemie blanket made of cotton and Minky blanket with Minky…too fuzzy! 3 wee newborn hankie bonnets… I think the 2 tiny ones on the right may be preemie or angel sized since they are SO small.  Now that I’ve found Restore powder I have even more bonnets in process since I managed to get all the antique hankies clean! Alright not all, one is just not attractive at all, no idea why it went from old dingy to grey dingy… bleck! That one will be put back into the eventual hankie quilt box. July 28^th 2014

Very productive 5 day staycation!

Angels sets…whew! I finished all I had cut out and started.  The teeny diapers are via Teeny Tears:http://teenytears.blogspot.com/ .The no sew caps are via: http://angeloutfitters.blogspot.com/2012/10/no-sew-hats.html  and the 12 inch lovies are thrown in so the wee angels can be snuggled.  I worked on these over three days between other projects and celebrations.  Haven’t decided where these will go yet…perhaps a hospital through Teeny Tears and any left over will go to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia. Angel Buntings for angels too tiny and fragile for clothing.  I made 4 smalls (on the right) and 6 larges (on the left) the pattern for these can be found at Angel Outfitters http://angeloutfitters.blogspot.com/.  I’m patiently waiting for my white stockinette to arrive so I can make the ultra tiny caps to go with these.  Once assembled these will be sent to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, OB Department/PETAL Program. Boy Burp Cloths cuz’ Burps happen… I’ve made 16 sets of boy burp cloths, half will go to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia after the 1^st of the new year.  The other half will go to the young mommies of Wright County MN. December 15^th 2013

For some reason the large version prints right off the page so this one is ‘small’ I also cut out 4 ‘medium’ we shall see how big they turn out. I could get 2 smalls with coordinating fabrics out of 2 fat quarters with a nice sized chunk of left overs to put into the eventual flannel sweetie quilt. I made mine out of flannel since I’m sewing in the mighty north! November 24^th 2013

forty-seven burp cloths

in celebration of my soon to be granddaughter (yeah I’m going to be getting a granddaughter in November) and her very healthy heart (whew what a relief, no heart defect in this sweet baby) Tabitha’s naming her Olivia Grace (after my mom…mom still doesn’t know the babies name, Tab wants to surprise her) So Oliver will have a little sister…he’s still not too sure about all of this…he loves babies though so I think he’ll be just fine…OK onto what I made…

Last night I cut out 47 burp cloths out of fabulous fun flannel

yup forty-seven of them…lets say I was on a roll! 4 for Tab to pick out for her house, 4 for me to have at my house since Olivia will be coming home at night with Oliver when Tab’s at work…a few to try to sell, 2 for the trick-or treat bags for my wedding for the newborn and soon to be born girls…the rest will be sent to God’s Tiny Angels in West Virginia http://danettesangels.tripod.com for sweetie babies in need!

Holiday Burp Cloths

I’m making 10 stockings for sweet tiny babies this holiday season…5 girl & 5 boy…each I’m stuffing each to over flowing with a plethora of baby needs including burp cloths which I finished last night.

now I know they aren’t of holiday colors but I figure the babies won’t burping only during the holiday (LOL) so I made them out of fun fabric for every day.  Fleece on one side and flannel on the other…on will hold on to mom/dad’s shoulder the other will absorb any leavings…
